I write books and make analog games and playable theater. In my life as author, I've written Leaving Mundania, a narrative nonfiction book about larp, and Pandora's DNA, about the history and science of the so-called "breast cancer genes."
On the game design side, I've designed solo, but I prefer collaboration. Highlights include a Shakespeare edu-larp created for the Kennedy Center's ArtsEdge, Save the Munbax, a puzzle play set in a world of magical beasts (with Kellian Pletcher) and, most recently, The Lesser Player's Tale, an Otto-winning collaboration with Jason Morningstar, about a down and dirty troupe of Renaissance actors.
